Organization at a Glance

Uttaran Protibandhi Sangstha (UPS) is an Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) working in Dinajpur district of Bangladesh. Persons with disabilities and their few well-wishers’ social workers established Uttaran Protibandhi Sangstha (UPS) as a non-political, voluntary organization on July 01, 2002, located at Textile Mitali Bazar, 2 No. Sundarban Union of Dinajpur aims at socio-economic development by developing persons with disabilities as human resources.

Uttaran Protibandhi Sangstha (UPS) is working on developing persons with disabilities, unemployed youth with disabilities, children, and adolescents with disabilities as human resources through different programs; increasing participation in different activities of government and non-government aiming at poverty elimination, inclusive education, and employment.
